There were early questions about whether the new Twingo would make it here, but we’re pleased to say it’s officially confirmed for the UK, arriving shortly after its European launch next year.
Renault has seen an incredible response to its other upcoming electric models – like the Renault 5 E-Tech and Renault 4 – and this strong demand has helped clear the way for Twingo’s return.
Behind the scenes, Renault has worked hard to make a right-hand drive version possible, thanks in part to a new shared EV platform with Nissan. That collaboration helps reduce development costs and means the Twingo can join our electric line-up sooner.
We can’t wait to welcome this brilliant little car back to the range. Whether you remember the original or you’re new to the name, the all-new Twingo promises to deliver big on charm, efficiency and everyday usability – with zero tailpipe emissions.
