The LEAF kickstarted Britain's electrified era as the first mass market EV. It's engineered in Cranfield and built in Sunderland, giving it one of the strongest British connections in Nissan's current range.
Most people know about Nissan's Sunderland plant.
Fewer know about Cranfield.
Described by Nissan as its home of innovation, Cranfield is where engineers develop and test new technology. It's also where the LEAF was developed, making it a key part of the car's story.
Sunderland plays an equally important role. A Nissan rolls off the Sunderland production line every two minutes, making it one of the UK's most productive car plants. It's here that the All-New Nissan LEAF is built.
It's this British story that sits at the heart of Nissan's new By Britain campaign.
Earlier this year, Ancaster Nissan Epsom welcomed the production team as filming took place for the campaign. The All-New Nissan LEAF was among the vehicles used during the shoot, giving the team a behind-the-scenes look before the campaign launched.

More than a new look
The latest LEAF is a very different car from the one many drivers will remember.
The familiar hatchback has evolved into a sleek crossover with a more aerodynamic shape. Inside, twin 14.3-inch displays create a clean, contemporary dashboard, while up to 437 litres of boot space keeps it practical for everyday life.
One feature worth looking out for is Vehicle-to-Load (V2L). In one scene, the LEAF powers a kettle for a cup of tea, demonstrating how the car can supply power to compatible electrical devices as well as the journey itself. Whether you're camping, working outdoors or preparing for the unexpected, it's one of those features that's easy to appreciate once you see it in action.
Depending on the version you choose, the All-New Nissan LEAF offers a driving range of up to 387 miles (WLTP), along with rapid charging capability designed to make longer journeys easier.
