So, what does all this SHS technology mean out in the real world?
Well, UK drivers certainly seem keen to find out. OMODA&JAECOO has now surpassed 100,000 UK vehicle sales in less than two years and electrified models are playing a big part in that growth. The JAECOO 7 is a standout example. More than 53,000 have been registered since February 2025, with an impressive 75% of customers choosing the SHS-P plug-in hybrid version. It has also remained one of the UK’s top 10 best-selling cars since September 2025.
And the SHS story is only getting bigger. OMODA&JAECOO’s growing range now gives drivers a choice of hybrid and plug-in hybrid models alongside petrol and fully electric options, bringing the technology we’ve explored above to more UK roads.
