MG has officially launched its latest all-electric SUV, the new MGS5 EV, in the UK – expanding its electric line-up to five models. Positioned as practical and affordable the MGS5 EV brings a strong mix of value, range, and everyday usability.

Design and Dimensions
The MGS5 EV’s design draws subtle inspiration from the MG4 and Cyberster, featuring:
- A split lower grille
- Dual-level LED headlights
- A full-width rear light bar
- Roof rails and a choice of 17- or 18-inch alloys
While the styling leans towards the conservative end of the spectrum, it blends familiar MG cues with a contemporary SUV silhouette to ensure broad appeal.

The Long-Range variants offer brisk performance with a 0–62mph time of just 6.3 seconds, thanks to the more powerful 228bhp electric motor.
