Hyundai Motor has revealed the INSTER Cross, a new variant of the all-new INSTER. This upcoming crossover is designed to combine the versatility of the standard INSTER with rugged design elements that make it perfect for urban driving and outdoor adventures. Production is set to begin later this year, and it promises to deliver a stylish, adventure-ready EV option for those who want a vehicle suited for city streets as well as weekend getaways.
The INSTER Cross is designed to stand out with its bold, outdoor-focused look. This crossover variant will feature wide, rectangular front and rear bumpers, embossed black cladding, and skid plates, giving it an adventurous edge. The 17-inch alloy wheels and side rocker panels add extra protection for rougher roads, while roof racks are included as standard, with the option to add a roof basket for extra storage space, making it ideal for camping trips or sports gear.
Customers can choose from a variety of colours, including the exclusive Amazonas Green Matte, which enhances the car’s rugged aesthetic. Five additional colour options, such as Atlas White and Abyss Black Pearl, are also available, with some offering a black two-tone roof for extra style.
Inside, the INSTER Cross will feature a unique trim with grey cloth seats and lime-yellow accents on both the upholstery and the dashboard. The roomy interior offers flexibility and practicality, with flat-folding seats and a 50/50 split second-row, providing ample space for all kinds of adventures.
Like the standard INSTER, the Cross version comes equipped with Hyundai’s leading Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Highway Driving Assist 1.5, Smart Cruise Control, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 1.5, ensuring both comfort and safety for drivers.
With production set to begin in Korea later this year, the INSTER Cross offers a new option for those seeking an electric city car with a more adventurous, outdoor-ready design.
