Ancaster Group is making great strides in protecting the planet thanks to its solar panels installed at several sites. These panels have now produced over 561 megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean electricity - that’s enough energy to power hundreds of homes.

What does that mean for the environment?

It means Ancaster has helped reduce the amount of harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) released into the air by about 134 tonnes. To give you an idea, that’s the same amount of CO2 absorbed by around 6,700 mature trees in a year.

The solar panels are working hard at locations including Dartford, Bromley, Shepperton and Slough. Every month, they generate nearly 33 MWh of electricity on average, turning sunlight into power that keeps the business running while cutting carbon emissions.

The Dartford site is the top performer, producing 226 MWh of clean energy and saving over 53,900 kilograms of CO2 — a huge contribution to Ancaster green goals. But every site counts, whether it’s been running for a few months or almost two years.

Ancaster Group investment in solar power is helping create a cleaner, greener future. With every bit of sunshine turned into electricity, the company is not only supporting customers with the latest vehicles but also driving real change for the environment.
