Hyundai is on fire! Four of their cars got top prizes at the 2024 Auto Express New Car Awards, showing just how popular their lineup is.
The awards took place at Dartmouth House in London’s Mayfair. Leading the pack was the Hyundai TUCSON, crowned Best Mid-Size SUV by Auto Express. It wasn't alone as the Hyundai i10 took home Best City Car, the KONA Electric was named Best Small Company Car and the IONIQ 5 N snagged Best Performance Car.
Auto Express is a big name in car news and reviews in the UK and their New Car Awards have been around since 1993. Judged by seasoned road testers, these awards spotlight the best cars across 25 different categories, focusing on what real buyers need.
The TUCSON’s win marks its fourth straight year as Best Mid-Sized SUV, thanks to its all-around appeal. The i10 also repeated its success, winning Best City Car again. Buyers love its smart looks, great features, and affordable price. The KONA Electric followed up its 2023 Car of the Year win with the Best Small Company Car award. Judges praised its sharp design and affordability. The IONIQ 5 N continued its winning streak too, taking home Best Performance Car. It even won a seven-car test by CAR, being hailed as the best electric performance car.
