Technician –  Hyundai Croydon

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join our team at Ancaster Hyundai Croydon. You will be joining a successful and growing dealership with a supportive team environment and excellent opportunities for training and career progression.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys working as part of a busy and professional aftersales team. Previous experience is preferred; however, we would also welcome applications from candidates newer to the industry who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.

About the Role

• Location: Ancaster  Hyundai Croydon
• Department: Aftersales
• Salary: Competitive
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
• No Weekends
• Full UK Driving Licence Required

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose faults using the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment and systems
• Complete Electronic Vehicle Health Checks
• Identify and report additional work required on customer vehicles
• Work closely with the Service Department to ensure excellent customer communication
• Carry out road tests and vehicle inspections where required
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and efficiency
• Support apprentices and less experienced technicians when appropriate
• Keep up to date with manufacturer training and technical knowledge

Skills & Experience Required

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous manufacturer or dealership experience desirable
• Diagnostic experience desirable
• MOT Tester licence desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
