We are looking for PDI and Used Car Preparation Technicians to join our busy and friendly team at our Preparation Centre in Croydon.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the motor industry. The role would suit a college leaver, newly qualified technician or someone at the beginning of their automotive career, as full training and support will be provided.

Working as part of our established preparation team, you will help ensure that new and used vehicles are prepared to the highest possible standards before being handed over to our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles.
• Inspecting and preparing used vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards.
• Identifying faults and carrying out appropriate repairs and adjustments.
• Completing routine servicing and maintenance work where required.
• Ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer, safety and quality standards.
• Accurately completing job cards, inspection reports and other relevant records.
• Working efficiently to help vehicles move through the preparation process on time.
• Taking pride in the quality of your work and the vehicles you prepare for our customers.
• Working closely with colleagues across the Preparation Centre to maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has an interest in cars and the motor industry.
• Has a relevant automotive qualification or is working towards one.
• Has good practical and problem-solving skills.
• Takes pride in producing high-quality work.
• Is reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a busy team.
• Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn and develop.
• Understands the importance of safety and attention to detail.
• Holds a full UK driving licence, or is working towards obtaining one.

Previous experience in a PDI, workshop or vehicle preparation environment would be beneficial, but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
