In a world of derivative design, the Giulia has a style all of its own. Unmistakably an Alfa Romeo, it is also unlike any Alfa that has come before; its taut, muscular lines set a new template for sporting practicality, a fresh evolution of the marque.
This is a car for those who need space and flexibility, yet refuse to compromise when it comes to the pure driving experience.
The sleek and polished new Alfa Romeo Giulia, will give a new first-class driving experience. The rear wheel drive allows for more control and sensitivity in steering, while the perfect 50:50 weight distribution gives supreme balance to the car. The weightless feel is due to carbon fibre used throughout the vehicle, which is 3x stronger but 7x lighter than steel, making the Giulia agile without compromising on stability and the solid structure. This perfect power to weight ratio allows the car to go from 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds.
Inside the Giulia an 8.8-inch display screen is controlled via a dial, and can connect to both Apple and Android mobile devices for phone calls and music streaming. There's also a TomTom sat-nav system and the dash also features Alfa's DNA driving mode switch.
Behind the wheel there's either a 3.5 or 7 inch touch screen, and the Giulia features a Harman Kardon 14-speaker stereo system. Autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection will be available on the car, plus a collision warning, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control.
